IEX manufactures its own functional scavenger materials in the UK, providing direct control over quality, specification, and turnaround at every stage of production.
This in-house capability allows IEX to tailor materials to your specific applications rather than selecting from a fixed catalogue, and to respond quickly when process requirements change.
What We Manufacture
IEX produces silica, polymer, and alumina-supported functional materials across a range of ligand chemistries, particle shapes and sizes, and porosity options.
Materials are manufactured to the specification required by the application, whether that is a standard product from IEX's existing range or a bespoke formulation developed through the process development programme.
The same manufacturing capability is available to third parties through toll manufacturing. If you require functionalised solid materials and do not have the in-house capacity or capability to produce them, IEX can manufacture to your specification.

IEX can accommodate a broad range of production requirements, including:
Trial and proof-of-concept batches from just a few grams.
Intermediate-scale batches up to 100 kilograms
Full production runs of 1 to 10 tonnes per month
